July Catchup

Hello my darlings,

It’s been a very hectic few months since I last posted a proper update and I wanted to take some time to let you know what’s been going on in my life and why I’ve not been as active as I would’ve liked to have been.

As I mentioned in my previous updates I got a civvie job to ensure I had enough regular income to cover my essential bills/costs. It was going ok, I was just about getting used to being on night shifts and then they fired me. Their vague explanation was that my social media had gone against the social media policy. A friend I’d made there got in touch with me later to say that all the managers were saying I got fired because of my OnlyFans and other adult work…So that was fun.

It’s so disappointing that we’re still firing people for what they do of their own free will and outside of their jobs.

If you’ve been paying attention I’m sure you’ll have noticed I’ve been very careful not to mention where I work on any of my profiles or accounts. So there’s no way that what I was doing could be linked back to them.

Lucky for me, I’m a member of the Sex Worker’s Union. So they’re helping me to try and get some answers and maybe even get the job back. We’ll see.

Alongside adjusting to the new job (whilst I had it) I was also moving flat. I’ve moved into a reliably long-term flat now so at least on the personal side of things I’m not expecting to have to move again for the next 5-10 years (fingers crossed). That meant I was moving all of my stuff bit by bit, scraping together money to cover moving costs and using whatever time I had when I wasn’t working to try and sort out my living situation. It’s been exhausting. But I’m almost finished!

As you’ll know, if you follow me on Twitter, my previous flat had a serious mould problem. I lost so much clothing, shoes, furniture and other items to the mould that half of my expenses in this move have just been replacing the things I lost. It’s been so stressful but the ability to rely on the income from the new civvie job was really helping. Which of course made it all the more stressful when they fired me.

I’m still nowhere near being in a position to return to having a set incall space and will be continuing to use hotels, Airbnb's and similar at the very least for the rest of this year, possibly forever now. Time will tell.

There is also a chance that I will stop offering in-person services altogether as it seems people are struggling to swap to booking in advance and if the next civvie job I end up with is full-time or their scheduling is even half as chaotic as the previous place then it becomes even more difficult for me to try and plan out dates that I can be available on.

This isn’t definite, I’m not announcing my retirement, haha. I just like to be honest about where I expect to see myself in the near future. And right now it’s looking like I’ll be moving to being at least 80% online with the majority of my in-person activities being kept to filming sessions/shoots. That is as soon as I finally have my room sorted enough that I can get back to making content. Right now I’m living in a cluster of bags, boxes and things that just need to have a place to be put.

This is why I decided to run a deal over on my socials, to try and get the money together to get the (hopefully) last of the furniture that I need, to be able to get my room under control. I’m already just over halfway to my goal and I only posted about it yesterday!

Once my room is under control I can get back to accepting and filming custom video orders. I can get back to making photo and video content and I think that my new space is going to be even better for content than my previous setups.

I am still looking to get another civvie job. No matter how quickly I get on top of my room and get back to making content, I need to have a reliable stream of income to cover my bills now. So I need to find a civvie job. It’s a shame that it seems I’ve reached the point where I’m only going to be able to do sex work part-time but it is what it is.

But in more fun and exciting news, I have another shoot with Mr Rain this weekend! I’m really looking forward to it. Especially since I’ll be getting to work with performers that I haven’t worked with before, that’s always exciting.

And whilst I can’t actively make content I am trying to write down ideas and start planning out the new content that I want to make when I do get my room under control. I’m also hoping that before the end of this year, I’ll be able to sort getting fresh photos of all of my surviving outfits/costumes and toys so that I can make sure that my website is up to date.

I’ve had a few bumps in the road and it’s definitely not been the most fun couple of months but I’m staying positive and doing what I can to get back on track.

I’m so grateful for all of the support my friends and fans have shown me this year (and always), I definitely would not be handling everything as well as I am without that support.

Oh, and as a little treat, whilst I’m away filming with Mr Rain, I’ll be running some sales/deals across my premium sites so be sure to keep an eye out for those!
